Anthony Dunleavy

Tony joined the firm in February 2008 and holds an LLB from QUT which he completed in 2002 and a BA from Monash University.  He completed his law degree whilst working full-time as a Detective with the Queensland Police Service, studying externally.  Tony was in the Queensland Police for 10 years.

 

Since being admitted as a solicitor he has practiced in Cairns for two years doing Family, Wills Estates, Crime and Commercial litigation matters and then went over to England where he worked for a regional practice (legal 500 firm), concentrating solely on Crime.  He was a criminal advocate working in the Magistrates Court daily on all major matters from murder through to traffic matters.

 

In his spare time he enjoys Soccer, having coached junior soccer for a number of years, and generally spend most weekends running my three children around to various sporting events.
