
Alex is a member of the estates and succession team and practices across all areas of estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration.
He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in January 2005 and has worked as a commercial and litigation lawyer for city and suburban firms since admission. He started with Quinn & Scattini Lawyers in 2008.
Prior to practising as a solicitor Alex has worked as a tax accountant for chartered and other accounting firms and is a Member of the National Institute of Accountants. He has also worked in funds management and for a trustee company.
Alex also served the Royal Australian Air Force as an Aircrew Officer and has amassed over 3,500 flying hours on fast jets, transports and trainer aircraft both in Australia and internationally and has held command and staff appointments as a Squadron Leader. He is a graduate of the RAAF School of Air Weapons and the RAAF School of Air Navigation and was awarded the Reserve Force Decoration (RFD) for service in the RAAF Active Reserve.
Alex also holds a Private Pilot’s Licence and a Recreation Aviation Australia Pilot’s Licence and flies in his spare time. In his remaining spare time he spends time with his family, reading history and apple growing at Stanthorpe.
