Peta is a member of our criminal law team.
Peta developed a keen interest in criminal law during her secondary schooling, graduating dux in legal studies. Peta went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University.
Upon completion of her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Skills and Ethics Peta worked as a Law Clerk at a Brisbane based specialist criminal law firm and volunteered at a community legal centre.
Peta is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Peta practices exclusively in criminal and traffic law. She has experience in all criminal jurisdictions appearing in the Magistrates, Children’s, District and Supreme Courts of Queensland. Peta has also briefed and instructed counsel in matters before the Mental Health Court and Legal Practice Tribunal.
Peta possesses a strong work ethic and is dedicated to achieving the best outcome for her clients.
In her leisure time Peta enjoys going tot eh beach, reading and painting.
