David Durham is a member of the Family and Criminal Law Teams. David is a Solicitor of Queensland Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. He also has a degree in Civil Engineering, a Grad Dip. and MBA n Business Administration.

David’s background and competencies are in Family Law, Criminal Law, Business and Contract Law. Before joining Quinn & Scattini Lawyers, David practiced for four years in the Bribie Island and Deception Bay area.

In his last firm he was the primary Family Lawyer and provided services on all property matters in De-Facto and Matrimonial causes, children’s matters, LAQ mediations, spousal maintenance applications, child support agreements, Hague convention applications, including representation in Family Court, District Court and FMC.

David’s experience in criminal matters include duty lawyer representation at the magistrates court, provision of criminal advice, representation in summary matter pleas, sentencing submissions, preparation of criminal briefs, conferencing with counsel, instructing counsel in Brisbane District Court.

David has also worked as a Pro-Bono Lawyer for the Bayside Community Legal Service and Peninsular Community Legal Service (Redcliffe). This involved the provision of free general legal advice and referrals to community members in a wide range of matters.

David has also been a past president and secretary of the Brisbane Astronomical Society and Ormiston Neighbourhood Watch Group. He enjoys sea kayaking, hiking and has played two seasons with the Raiders Softball Club.
