Michael has worked in the practice since 1971 having commenced work as an articled clerk, then worked as a solicitor and later acquired the business in 1974 when his master retired.

A legal all-rounder and problem solver, his expertise covers all aspects of commercial, financial and property transactions. In addition, Michael has conducted and been extensively involved in litigation in all jurisdictions.

Over the years he has advised a diverse range of companies and individuals on a wide variety of matters, but is now concentrating on property, business and associated commercial ventures.

Michael has enjoyed a long association with many of the firm’s clients and has been an integral part of the growth.

Michael is our managing partner and consults widely with the other Partners, Associates, Consultants, Team Leaders and helps mentor our junior lawyers.

Michael has traveled widely, played Soccer, but now is able only to follow the game on TV. Michael has owned and raced a few thorough bred horses with mixed success. He now spends too much time vainly trying to perfect his golf swing.
