Partner in charge Duncan Murdoch specialises in the acquisition, development and sale of broad acre sub-divisions in Queensland. Growth in Queensland has been exponential in the last decade. This is compounded by the recent commitment of the Queensland State Government to fast-track land release for development. We offer assistance with acquisitions (including the preparation and negotiation of the contract and consideration of the GST issues) and post-acquisition for developers, including lodgment of survey plans, preparation of easements and covenants and lot sales.
We offer a unique service for Korean developers and investors. We have a Korean lawyer, Tony Kim, who is a qualified lawyer in both Australia and South Korea. Tony is well placed to deal with issues for Korean clients having worked in both the public and private sectors in Korea and working in Queensland.
