Notifying us in advance of what you wish to discuss in a meeting will allow us to prepare accordingly and give you the best value for money. Please notify our receptionist as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a scheduled meeting.
3. First and Subsequent Meetings
To ensure that each meeting is effective and lines of communication are kept open, there are some things you can prepare. For instance:
1. Write down any facts you think may be relevant. If possible, have them typed. This will ensure that nothing important is forgotten. You may send these to us in advance.
2. Collect and photocopy all relevant documents.
3. Prepare any questions that you wish to ask, and bring them with you.
4. Be clear about what you want to achieve.
5. Preparing for appointments in advance will ensure that all issues and questions are discussed and meetings are kept brief - saving you valuable money.
4. Telephone Calls
Ensure you are clear about what you wish to discuss. If your solicitor is unavailable:
1. Inform the receptionist of a convenient time for your call to be returned and any phone numbers you are contactable on.
2. Be assured that your call will be returned as soon as possible.
5. Correspondence
It is important to respond in a timely fashion to any letters we send you. If you do not understand or need clarification of any information, please do not hesitate to contact us. You may need to refer back to letters you have received and sent during the course of your matter. The firm will issue you with a folder where you can keep your documents.
