Lawn Bowls

lawn bowls An early downpour of rain in the morning didn't deter those who had signed up for a Sunday afternoon lawn bowls session at Merthyr Bowls Club. Luckily it turned into a beautiful sunny afternoon, with several of the Q&S staff discovering a new hobby to build on for their retirement. Two hours of lawn bowls was topped off with a steak and salad lunch overlooking the Brisbane River, whilst enjoying beer at "geniune 1962 prices". A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

BPW Caboolture Candlelight Dinner

candlelight dinner

The staff of Quinn & Scattini's Caboolture office attended their first BPW (Business & Professional Women's Club) annual candlelight dinner at the Caboolture RSL in March 2004.  It was a delightful evening for the girls who mingled with local business women and shared in the lighting of candles to represent the affiliation of BPW members worldwide.  The event was also in celebration of International Women's Day.

BJCC Touch Footy Competition

The majority of the Quinn & Scattini staff and their partners attended the Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce Touch Footy Competition at Finsbury Park, Newmarket on Sunday 10th August 2003.

After the event being postponed the month before due to wet weather, the Q&S team was definitely ready for the competition.  Quinn & Scattini entered a mixed team into the competition and advanced through to the finals where we defeated 3-1 in a very close game.  A BBQ lunch was enjoyed by all the players and supporters.
